Client Consultation for Providers
I provide consultation and coaching to individuals and groups of varying professional disciplines. I support psychotherapists, OTs, speech therapists, teachers, supervisors, administrators and others in using sensory and other regulatory principles in their work to best support the needs of highly dysregulated children. We can work together to enable children in your practice to participate in the daily tasks that are important to them and their families.
Neurosequential Model Consultation
An Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics™ consultation is a deeper level consultation that involves completing the NMT assessment tool (metric).
Information Gathering
You provide information about your client’s history to aid in the completion of a metric report. I will generate a metric report and write an individualized report for your client.
Review
You and I will meet to discuss the results of the metric and how they can inform your work with your client
Intervention Planning
We will meet to discuss ways to integrate sensory-based regulatory strategies and other developmentally and neurologically supportive interventions into your current treatment or work with your client
Reflective Practice, Mentoring & Coaching
I am endorsed in the state of California as an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist and a Reflective Facilitator II and provide reflective practice in the US & Canada with providers of various disciplines. During reflective practice, we will work to uncover what is driving your work, enhance what is going well and dig deep to figure out how to change what may not be working in your practice with a client or in general. Reflective practice is a wonderful way to consider how your work is impacting you and how who you are, in your full identity, influences your work.
